Director | Business Development

Our company is looking for a senior level sales person to join our dynamic business development team. You will perform a range of duties including engaging with both cold and warm leads to cultivate a business relationship. Ideal Directors, Business Development should enjoy forming new professional relationships within the B2B market, demonstrating excellent ability to develop those relationships into profitable connections for both parties. In addition to being an excellent communicator, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract agreements, and legal terminology. Must be fluent in Italian.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
  • Answer questions about the products
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or relevant field
  • Fluent in Italian
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract documents, and legal specifications
  • Outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to resolve client complaints and concerns
